Gartner: Quarter of CRM revenues now via on-demand delivery

Gartner predicts that the global software-as-a-service market will grow by 14.1% this year to $8.5 billion, with the delivery model taking a 26% share of total CRM sector revenues.

SaaS accounted for 24% of total CRM sales last year, with penetration levels ranging from between 11% and nearly 40% depending on the sub-segment.

Windows 7 Adoption: A Survey of Technology Professionals

Summary
Corporate IT is not waiting for Service Pack 1 before deploying Windows 7. Plans for Windows 7 deployments are dramatically ahead of the planned Vista deployments reported at a similar stage in the operating system lifecycle. More than half of participants in this survey expect to have Windows 7 deployed by the end of 2010; however, the majority of these participants are not using commercial tools for the migration.
